Submission Checklist: It’s Go Time!!
⏳ There is just one week left to enter your submission to the Tableau Hackathon. Submissions are due January 12, 2026 at 12pm PT.
Whether you’re nearly finished with your submission or have been putting it off and are planning to get everything done this week, the deadline is coming soon!! Get some tips from our submission form process, make sure all of your teammates have accepted their invitations to join the project, and use the checklist below to make sure you’re all set by the deadline!
📝 Submission checklist:
- Are you creating a new solution that uses the Tableau portfolio to solve a business problem?
- If using Tableau Next, did you request your Salesforce org, and do you have that Org ID and admin credentials to your provisioned org handy to enter into your submission?
- Are all of your teammates added to your submission form? Remind them to accept the invitation so that they’re listed on the project submission!
- Have you created a submission video? Is your video public, coherent and shows your app working? Reminder that any content over five minutes will not be viewed by judges.
- Did you come up with a 1-2 sentence pitch about your project?
- Did you list out all the APIs and Dev tools you used? Did you explain potential further improvements to your project?
- Is your project newly created? Updated versions to preexisting projects are not allowed.
- Did you include a URL to your code repository and, if private, share access with @kglover29 and testing@devpost.com?
Be sure to read through the official Hackathon Rules more than once. Or better yet, have a friend or colleague provide a second pair of eyes to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
Good luck!
